All Natural Cleaning- laundry detergent

I made my first batch of homemade laundry detergent in March.
I just ran out the other day. I got the recipe from the Duggar's Family website.
Everything is phosphate free except maybe the Fels-Naptha soap.
It does not say on the wrapper or online.
I purchased all of these ingredients for under $10.
The washing soda and Borax will probably last me the rest of the year.
The bar of soap was under $2.
I would say that having laundry soap that costs less than $10,
works really well and
lasts over 4 months is pretty cool!

First I grated the bar of soap with my awesome salad shooter!
Then I boiled it in 4 cups water.
Stir often

I then added the soap mixture to a 5 gallon bucket that was
filled half full of hot water.
I also added
a cup of washing soda and
1/2 cup of borax
You can add essential oils if you would like.
I tried it and you cannot smell it on your cloths at all so
I kind of felt like it was a waste.
Stir
Then fill the bucket to the top with hot water.
Stir some more.

Let it sit overnight.
It looks like egg drop soup.
I use old laundry detergent bottles.
You fill those bottles half full of water and
the rest of the way with the detergent.
Do you see how it lasts so long!
10 gallons of detergent!

All natural cleaning - window cleaner

This is everything you need to make window cleaner
that works better than windex.
1 cup vinegar
6 drops of dawn
fill your old windex bottle the rest of the way with water
Newspapers work great on windows.
I still like paper towels on mirrors.
Cheaper and Works Better!!!!!
