Veteran's Day

We just wanted to honor all of the Veteran's for Veteran's Day.
We have some of our very own.
Our own daddy served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Belleau Wood during
Desert Storm.
He is our own true HERO.
This is my dad, Milt Woodward. He served in the Army and was in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
I will have to wait to tell him that I think he is a HERO because he is waiting for us in Heaven.
He became a Christian after he served in the military. He was about 28 years old. He died when he was 43. I was 17. I miss him. But, I know how much he loved the Lord and I know I will get to see him again.
We have more heroes in our family but no pictures of them.
Our very own Papa, Anthony Medina was in the military just
43 days shy of 39 years!
He served in the Air Force and the Air National Guard.
He is a Veteran of the Vietnam War, Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom!
We love our Papa!!!!
My grandpa, OJ King served in the Navy on the U.S.S Knapp during
World War II.
Jim's dad, Charles Clark also served. He was in the Air Force and is a veteran of the Korean War.
We are
surrounded by
HEROES!

It was very nice of you to remember the ones who fight for our freedom on Vetran's Day. It makes me pause to think will we retain the same kind of freedom with Obama at the helm. Then I remember God is really in charge and knows what it going to happen. It is all in his hands. That is how it is supposed to be.

I think our society will continue to loose it's respect for God and also our patriotism. It is sad. I don't think it is God's will. I think our society is given a choice. And it has chosen to turn even more away from him. Look at the bible for examples of how this has happened over and over again. I do think we, me and you, and others that we know love the Lord, are in God's hands. I think we are even more set apart now. At least we are together. That brings me peace.
